Mr. McClung joined Broadband Horizons in June 2004. Mr. McClung brings an extensive corporate background in sales and operations leadership in telecommunications and information technology services. He has held executive positions at EDS and Sabre, Inc. where he led sales and delivery of complex technology outsourcing relationships with global clients. During his early tenure at EDS, Mr. McClung personally sold more than $140 million in outsourcing contracts, achieving corporate recognition as a top sales producer. He was promoted to lead company wide sales training, where he was instrumental in the redesign and global deployment of a value-based sales process. Mr. McClung later served as a Division Vice President, leading teams in building and managing an $80 million portfolio of business with Japanese companies in North America. He then joined EDS’s top performing business unit where he led market planning and strategy for the High-tech Manufacturing Industry.From EDS, Mr. McClung joined Sabre, Inc as Director of Business Development for a newly formed unit focused on selling and delivering outsourcing services to airlines around the world.Prior to EDS, Mr. McClung enjoyed a successful career in the telecommunications industry, including serving in a senior national account management role at AT&T, and as a Regional Director for Mitel, Inc. He also served as President and COO of ComTel, Inc., a Dallas firm offering business telecommunications services. Immediately prior to joining Broadband Horizons, Mr. McClung owned and operated a successful executive search firm based in Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University. |
