Larry has an extensive background in healthcare services, technology, and healthcare products. Larry began his career in hospital and medical center administration in California, working closely with physicians and physician groups, and focusing on positive patient outcomes. Moving to the health insurance sector, Larry was the President & Chief Executive Officer of CareAmerica Health Plans, which grew profitably from $4 million in revenue to over $300 million in less than six years. Larry then launched and sold a multi-state start up health plan. He then became President & Chief Executive Officer of FHP, California, a $2 billion revenue healthcare organization with over 1800 employees. Larry was also the Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Oncology, the largest national oncology management company. Larry received a M.B.A. degree from Boston University and a M.S.B.A. degree from the University of Maryland. |
