Larry Codacovi was President and Chief Executive Officer of Pangea Ltd., a telecommunications start-up based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Pangea is a provider of enhanced international telecommunications infrastructure and services. The Company s first project was the Pangea 1 high-bandwidth systems, developed to provide carriers with an integrated broadband solution into the Northern European and Scandinavian markets. Prior to joining Pangea, Mr. Codacovi served as a Senior Vice President, International Services for MCI International, a subsidiary of MCI Communications Corporation, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining all of MCI s overseas business relationships including the planning and acquisition of international facilities. Mr. Codacovi was appointed to this position in May 1998 following MCI s acquisition of RCA Global Communications. Mr. Codacovi has a long and distinguished career in international communications and was the Executive Vice President and a board member of RCA Global Communications at the time of MCI s acquisition. His experience in international services began in 1964 and he has held positions of increasing responsibility including four years as Director, European Affairs, headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr. Codacovi received degrees in higher education from Brooklyn College in 1960 and from the New York University in 1963. He has also attended the New York University Graduate School of Business where he majored in International Business. Mr. Codacovi was the recipient of the Werner G. Wolter Award at Intelevent 1998. |
