Mr. Cheng manages all investments in the Kingdom Ventures portfolio. Mr. Cheng is currently an associate at Battery Ventures, a leading technology-oriented venture capital firm in Wellesley, MA. He specializes in software and Internet application investments. Prior to Battery Ventures, Mr. Cheng was an analyst at Bessemer Venture Partners where he specialized in early-stage e-commerce investments. Mr. Cheng was also a consultant at a leading growth strategy consulting firm, Corporate Decisions, Inc. (which was later acquired by Mercer Management Consulting). During college, Mr. Cheng was Chairman and President of Harvard Student Agencies, Inc. - a non-profit student-run company employed by 1,000 Harvard students. He graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree in Psychology focused on Organizational Behavior.
Mr. Cheng attended the Korean Church of Boston in Brookline, MA while in college. He was head of the missions committee during his time there. He was also an active participant in the Billy Graham Telephone Ministries. Since college, he has attended the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church in Boston's Chinatown. He serves at BCEC as a teacher of their Seekers Sunday School class. Mr. Cheng and his wife reside in Cambridge, MA. |
