Mr. Anthony brings over 28 years of executive experience with regional, domestic and international telecom / broadband companies. His extensive background in management includes the disciplines of communication system technology, impartial consulting, metro wireless, fiber deployment, carrier wholesale markets, as well as CLEC and inter-exchange carriers. He was a partner and shareholder of TCI when in 1981 it was sold to Inter-Tel (NASDAQ, INTL). In 1984 he founded Tech/Knowledge, an independent consulting firm with offices in California and overseas. The firm’s many clients included Apple Computer, United Airlines, Air France, Wells Fargo Bank, Sony, Viacom, Bloomberg, Univision, PLDT as well as foreign and domestic government agencies. He remained CEO for 12 years until selling the company to Midcom (NASDAQ, MCII) in 1996. Prior to joining GlobalTouch, Mr. Anthony was appointed to regional then national management positions at Winstar (NASDAQ, WCII) and its successor company IDT Communications, (NYSE, IDT). |
