Larry L. Vivoda is vice president of construction for Mid-America Development Partners, LLC (Mid-Am). In that capacity, he is responsible for the planning, bidding, scheduling and execution of all construction projects for Mid-Am, supervising its interaction with contractors.Vivoda joined Mid-Am in 2004 with an 18-year background in managing construction of commercial properties. Most recently, he served as senior project manager and a member of the strategic planning committee for Weis Builders, Inc., of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and was involved in a number of major commercial projects, including facilities for Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and Kohl's.Prior to that he worked as a senior project manager for RAS Builders, Inc., of Schiller Park, Ill., and Capital Construction.A resident of St. Charles, Ill., Vivoda earned a degree in construction technology from Illinois State University and an associate degree from the College of DuPage. |
