Mr. Simons is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. He is certified as a specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, in Bankruptcy. Mr. Simons received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge and his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, where he was a member of the International Moot Court Honors Board. Mr. Simons was also a judicial extern for the Honorable David E. Russell, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of California. Mr. Simons served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Kathleen T. Lax and Arthur M. Greenwald, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.
