Larisa Avner Trainor joined CIG as Associate General Counsel in April 2005. Larisa works on a variety of transactional and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and intellectual property, immigration, and executive compensation issues.Larisa previously worked at E*TRADE Financial Corporation in their in-house legal group and spent six years at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where she specialized in transactional and securities law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private investment funds, investment management, and corporate governance.Larisa received her J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School and her BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State and worked for three years as an auditor with a bank holding company prior to attending law school. Larisa is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia.Larisa and her husband Sean live in Bethesda with their three daughters Jane, Sasha, and Mischa. |
