Lance Robson has been a Foreman at United Electric since 1998. Prior to joining United, Lance spent 10 years as Department Manager for a major supplier to Honda of America. Because of his strong relationships he developed and the respect he earned, his former employer is now one of United Electric’s largest customers. Lance’s current focus is on the management of electrical service and construction for United Electric industrial customers in northwest Ohio. With nearly nine years of experience in the electrical contracting field, Lance has worked with both large and small companies from a variety of business sectors, including: automotive manufacturing and supply, residential development, and commercial building. Lance’s areas of expertise include project estimating and job design, management of small and large construction and maintenance projects, crew and materials management, and financial management including invoicing and profitability analysis.Lance is an active electrician and a hands-on manager, providing leadership and instruction to his teammates. He is directly responsible for customer interaction and ensuring optimum customer service at several key clients.Lance received his training through the four-year State of Ohio Journeyman Training Program. He has also completed several safety courses, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, AC drives, PLC programming, network wiring and controls training. He is also licensed and certified in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm equipment.Lance is an avid sportsman and golfer, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. They have four children, two sons and two daughters, ranging in age from 17 to 5. |
