At the core of Mr. Eberhart’s practice, which focuses on transportation, are subspecialties in railroad and trucking litigation. He also handles other types of civil litigation, employment law, and criminal defense. Mr. Eberhart brings to Hall & Evans significant experience in trial and appellate advocacy. As a public defender in Colorado, Mr. Eberhart has conducted numerous jury trials, including first-degree murder. He also has managed an appellate felony caseload while serving the Missouri public defender system. Given his trial expertise, Mr. Eberhart has been a featured speaker / presenter on topics such as jury selection, search and seizure issues, and cross-examination techniques. Mr. Eberhart recently spoke on 4th Amendment Issues for a Burlington Northern Santa Fe law enforcement-training program. Mr. Eberhart received his Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in 1997 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in 1994. Mr. Eberhart is admitted to practice in Missouri (1997), Colorado (1998), and Nebraska (2004), as well as in United States District Court, District of Colorado (2003).
