Lance T. Eisenberg is an Associate in the firm’s Private Client Group and Corporate and Securities Practice Group.
Estate Planning and Administration. Lance practices in the areas of tax and estate planning, concentrating on income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. He has experience drafting various estate planning instruments, including wills, various trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance directives for health care. Lance also counsels fiduciaries in fulfilling their duties in administering and terminating trusts and estates.
Business Tax. Lance has experience in the application of federal and state law to business transactions. In addition, he works closely with members of the firm’s Corporate Restructuring Practice Group on tax issues affecting creditors and debtors in bankruptcy.
In General. Prior to joining the firm, Lance practiced law at Lowenstein Sandler PC in Roseland, New Jersey. He also clerked for the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey, during the 2000-2001 term, and for the Honorable Melvin S. Whitken, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, during the 1999-2000 term.

Education. Lance received his bachelor's degree, with honors, from Rutgers University in 1996, his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999, and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law in 2004.
