Lan is a Director of Cliffwater LLC. Prior to joining Cliffwater in July 2007, Lan was an Associate with Ennis Knupp + Associates, where she advised institutional investors of private equity investing and led due diligence on private equity fund of funds and direct partnerships. She advised public pension, corporate pension, and endowment and foundation clients on private equity portfolio structuring, new investments in private equity funds, reviewed valuation methodology of underlying portfolio company investments, and liquidated private equity investments in the secondary market. She also advised clients on general consulting matters. Prior to Ennis Knupp + Associates, Lan worked at Botta Capital Management LLC as an option trader and ABN AMRO Asia as an equity analyst, where she built financial models and performed equity analyses of companies listed in China. Lan earned a BA in Liberal Arts from Fudan University in Shanghai China, and an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute. |
