Iain Tester joined KPMG in the UK in 2004 and in 2006, joined KPMG Corporate Finance in the U.S. in secondment from the UK practice. Iain is a member of the Global Infrastructure and Projects Group and provides financial advisory services for public private partnerships (PPP) transactions. Iain has extensive knowledge of international infrastructure delivery models and considerable experience in advising numerous Government clients, private sector bidders and financial institutions on successful privately financed infrastructure procurement projects.
Prior to joining KPMG, Iain was on the Project Finance team at BayernLB wherein he was involved in the analysis and and structuring of senior bank debt facilities across a broad range of market sectors. Prior to that, Iain was seconded to the Private Finance Unit at UK Government's Department of Health where he advised on a number of hospital PFI transactions and undertook policy development. Iain started his career working for Taylor Woodrow plc as an engineer on large scale infrastructure projects and in 1998 moved to their Project Finance team bidding for hospital and other infrastructure concessions under the UK Government's Private Finance Initiative (PFI)
Iain holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Southhampton, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Iain is a Chartered Engineer and a member of Institution of Civil Engineers. |
