Mr. LAI Ni Quiaque, aged 36, was appointed as the Group's Chief Financial Officer since 1 January 2006 and responsible for overall group finance and investor relations. Mr Lai first joined the Group in May 2004 as Director of Corporate Development and he has 13 years' experience in telecommunications industry research and finance, being highly rated in this field. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Lai was Director and Head of Asia Telecom Research for Credit Suisse First Boston, having spent 8 years with the firm. Before that, Mr Lai held positions with Hongkong Telecom and Kleinwort Benson Securities (Asia). Mr Lai holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a qualified member of the Australian Society of CPAs. |
