Representative Matters
Represented a national real estate developer in obtaining zoning and land use approvals and environmental permits for a regional shopping mall of 1.4 million square feet.
Represented a national REIT in the heavily-contested successful rezoning of residentially-zoned property to be developed as an 875,000 square foot office park.
Represented an international soft drink company in successfully blocking approval of a 1,000-acre residential development proposed adjacent to the company's regional bottling and distribution facility.
Represented owners/developers in obtaining all land use approvals for a 60-acre commercial development that includes large retail and home improvement stores, a 22-screen cinema, a food store, and a 400-unit apartment complex.
Represented owner/developer of a 3,000-acre PUD in obtaining zoning approvals and vested rights certification.
Served as North Carolina counsel for an agribusiness company that was acquired in a $68 million cash merger.
Represents as general counsel an international engineering firm recognized as a "top 100" company by Engineering News Record.
