Dr. Plache is a Principal with LECG, LLC. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles where she specialized in the fields of Industrial Organization and Economic History. Her research has examined the impact of stock market microstructure on economic development and the effects of a stock market listing on firms and investors. At Economic Analysis, Dr. Plache worked on a number of antitrust matters involving alleged monopolization, tying, price fixing, exclusive dealing, predatory pricing practices, and damages estimation. She has also consulted on securities litigation involving insider trading and on trademark infringement litigation. Dr. Plache has served clients in the alternative fuel vehicle, music, home fragrance, petrochemical, vitamins, and payment cards industries. |
