Kyle Myers joined the KRCG WeatherLab team in October 2006 as fill-in weathercaster. As a student at the University of Missouri, Kyle plans to graduate with his degree in Atmospheric Science.
Living in the Midwest is what made Kyle love the weather, especially thunderstorms. He learned at a young age not to be scared of them, but to marvel at their power and beauty.
During high school, Kyle decided to pursue his dream of becoming a television meteorologist. Interning with Bryan Busby, a highly respected Midwestern weatherman, made Kyle love weather by learning key things about becoming a meteorologist. It is all about saving lives in hazardous weather and presenting a clear outlook on the forecast ahead.
Outside of work, Kyle is a member of the University of Missouri National Weather Association, participates in the University of Missouri Meteorology club, attends the Baptist Student Union and loves to be with friends. In his free time, Kyle loves to play the piano, swim, lie on the beach in the summer, snow ski in the winter and travel the world whenever he gets the chance. |
