Kurtis Fechtmeyer brings 14 years of strategic and capital markets transaction advisory experience to East Peak Advisors, both as a mergers and acquisitions attorney at a prominent international law firm and, for the last 8 years, as a senior technology investment banker. Prior to his advisory career, Mr. Fechtmeyer was an entrepreneur, co-founding a digital media company backed by Fujisankei, Japan's leading media group. Mr. Fechtmeyer has advised extensively on cross-border transactions, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private placements, public offerings, and complex recapitalizations. His investment banking clients have included, among others, Overstock.com, Proxim, M7, SkiWest, Netgear, Viewsonic, SafeNet, Spectrian (now Remec), Verso Technologies, MDSI, Finisar, New Focus (now Bookham), Vyyo, and Juniper Networks. Mr. Fechtmeyer speaks fluent French and received an A.B. in Social Studies (economics and anthropology) from Harvard University, magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Columbia University. Mr. Fechtmeyer is a non-practicing member of the New York bar and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses. |
