Kurt Silverman sets the vision and strategic direction and serves as a key evangelist for the company’s industry-leading billing and customer care software solutions in the global marketplace.
In this role, Silverman works closely with CSG’s software clients worldwide to understand their business and operational challenges and their future billing and customer care system needs. Under his leadership, Silverman also directs a team of regional CTOs and operates CSG’s prototype labs, which works closely with operators to develop innovative solutions to current and future business challenges.
Before joining CSG, Silverman served as CTO for Lucent Technologies’ eServices group covering billing and customer care, Intelligent Networking, and Messaging products and solutions.
During his tenure at Lucent, Silverman also served as Vice President of Software Strategy and Realization for Lucent’s INS business unit and Vice President of Software for Bell Labs.
Prior to Lucent, Silverman served in numerous leadership roles at Kenan Systems from 1984 and until 1999, when Lucent acquired the company. At Kenan, Silverman was responsible for software development and delivery.
Before joining Kenan Systems, Silverman served as senior economist of Systems Control, Inc., and as a senior systems analyst for Chase Econometrics/ Interactive Data Corporation.
Silverman earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in management information systems and international management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
