Kurt is widely recognized as an identity management industry expert, having managed numerous key initiatives as founder, president and CEO of OpenNetwork Technologies, a leading provider of Web access and identity management solutions. Before founding OpenNetwork, he started OpenWeb to address the growing need for web application development services. In less than a year, OpenWeb became one of Florida's fastest growing technology companies. OpenWeb was sold to US Web, Inc. in 1997. Prior that, he held management roles at IBM, including product manager for IBM’s DataTrade. At the outset of his career, Mr. Long served as mission manager for the Space Shuttle Real Time Launch Databank at Kennedy Space Center where he oversaw over 15 missions including the Hubble Space Telescope, Galileo and Ulysses.
