Kurt has been working as a software developer for close to 20 years. He founded Minimalist in February of 1997. Minimalist's software and embedded systems projects include efforts for AOL, Pfizer, Major League Baseball, Astra Zeneca, Bank of America, Microsoft, Onfolio (purchased by Microsoft), Ziff Davis, Sony/Ericsson, and many more. For a number of years, Kurt was also the Director of Technology at NYC-based Flightpath, where he was in charge of overseeing the development of large-scale community and e-commerce websites. Some of his clients at FlightPath included Condé Nast, United Jewish Communities, Cartoonbank.com, and Entrust Capital. Previous to Flightpath, Kurt co-founded Interclubs, an online community and collaboration destination. Interclubs later merged with NurseLink to form NursingHands.com, which was the premier online community for the nursing profession. It was purchased by Nurseweek magazine in 2001 and folded into their operations.
