Professional Experience
Mr. Osenbaugh has successfully prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar contract, tort, real estate and environmental lawsuits. He has tried cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants and represented a wide spectrum of manufacturers, oil companies, banks, real estate companies and individuals.
Mr. Osenbaugh has considerable experience in business torts, especially unfair competition, interference with business, and franchise claims. He currently directs substantial franchise litigation for major oil companies pursuant to the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act.
Mr. Osenbaugh also has extensive experience in environmental litigation, representing a major oil company in leaking underground storage tank (LUST) cases, and has successfully prosecuted, on behalf of the plaintiff, a multi-million dollar claim arising from a massive leak of gasoline at a local shopping center. He has represented banks and developers in a variety of environmental litigation cases under both state and federal law.
Mr. Osenbaugh has spoken on various issues regarding business torts, franchise rights, and the impact of environmental issues on the value of real property. He has been named a "Southern California Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics and the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine.
