Kurt M. Baumgartel is the Chief Operating Officer for Celtic Healthcare, Inc., and President of the subsidiary company, Celtic Living Assistance Services (CLAS), a private duty homecare company providing non-medical support services to clients residing in their home, Assisted Living Facility, or Retirement Community. Kurt has worked with and managed home healthcare providers and staff over the past decade, including such disciplines as: Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Medical Social Workers, Home Health Aides, Speech Language Pathologists, and more. Kurt's experience with all clinical aspects of home health agency operations reflects his comprehensive understanding of the issues affecting the homecare industry. In addition to providing direct supervision to a large staff of clinical personnel and managers, he has served as both the Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer for Celtic. As Chief Operating Officer, Kurt works closely with all divisions of Celtic Healthcare to assure that all efforts are focused on providing the absolute best care to our patients and clients. Kurt is active in several health care associations and has published articles and presented on numerous topics related to home health care. Mr. Baumgartel is an alumnus of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. |
