Experience
Mr. Schultheis’ litigation practice involves the following areas: products liability, toxic tort, insurance defense, automobile tort, insurance coverage as well as general commercial litigation. Prior to joining Semmes, Mr. Schultheis was in the mass tort claims unit of a large international insurance company where some of his assigned claims included the following areas: asbestos, lead paint, sexual abuse, silica, products liability and various other toxic torts. He was also previously in private practice as an insurance defense and collections attorney. Some of Mr. Schultheis’ previous legal experience included representing clients in administrative law matters, medical malpractice, employment law, professional malpractice and bankruptcy.
In addition to his work for Semmes, Mr. Schultheis is an adjunct writing professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is also on the Executive Board for the Maryland Lawyer’s Campaign Against Hunger.
