Mr. Kunihiro Kamiya is the Representative Director and Chairman of the Board of Hitachi-Omron Terminal Solutions Corp., which is a new member of Hitachi group established in October 2004.
Background:Prior to his current role, Kamiya served as the Chief Operating Officer of Information & Telecommunication Systems Group and General Manager of the Eproject Solution Division for Hitachi Ltd. His responsibilities there included the successful deployment of next generation IT systems and oversight of Hitachi's eCommerce services and Procurement groups, including the company's Japan-based e-marketplace, TWX-21. Additional roles at Hitachi, Ltd. included Managing Officer of Information & Telecommunication Systems (2001), where he contributed to the establishment of financial business process reengineering for Hitachi; General Manager of Finance, Information & Telecommunication Systems, (1999); and General Manager of Finance for the Storage Technology Division (1988).
