Lee is a principal analyst with iSuppli Japan and is responsible for research on consumer electronics and related components.
Before joining iSuppli, Lee was a key member of the well-known Japanese research firm Data Garage. Data Garage was acquired by iSuppli in November 2006. Prior to Data Garage, worked as a senior analyst for the brokerage firm CLSA Securities in Japan, covering consumer electronics companies such as Sony, Matsushita, Sharp and Pioneer. Lee also worked as a senior analyst for WestLb Securities Pacific, where in addition to researching consumer electronics he also handled display technologies such as LCDs, plasma display panels (PDPs), organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and more. He also spent two years working as a regional manager for Philips Central Market Intelligence, where he investigated consumer electronics issues for the company.
Lee served as an industry analyst with Gartner/Dataquest Japan, where he researched and analyzed the consumer, industrial, transportation, military/aerospace and multimedia markets with a specific focus on semiconductors.
Lee received his Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree from Gunman University. |
