Kumar Bashyam is responsible for setting the overall strategy and vision for SGT. Prior to founding SGT in 1999, Bashyam was Vice President of Corporate Strategy for ICG Commerce, where he was a key member of the senior leadership team that built ICGC into a leading procurement services provider within 3 years. While at ICGC, he also played a dual role as a member of the parent Internet Capital Group (ICG) strategy team and helped rationalize their portfolio. Before ICGC, he was a Managing Principal within IBM Global Services with responsibility for ERP services in the Process Industry and a Director in Price Waterhouse Coopers within the Oil and Gas Industry Practice. Bashyam holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Madras and an MBA specializing in corporate strategy and Finance, from the University of Michigan. |
