Krystin Mitchell is senior vice president of Human Resources for 7-Eleven, Inc. She is responsible for learning, development and staffing, compensation, benefits, HR systems, and corporate human resources teams.
Before joining 7-Eleven, Mitchell was with FedEx Kinko's as Vice President of Learning and Development and an officer of the company. She has also worked for Home Depot Inc., as Director of the Leadership Institute. In this role, Mitchell developed leadership curricula for every level within the organization.
Her background also includes several years with Tricon Global Restaurants, which includes the Pizza Hut and KFC fast food chains. At Tricon, Mitchell was Manager of Leadership and Organization Development in its Louisville, Ky., office and was later promoted to Director of People Development and relocated to Dallas. She created and implemented a number of leadership and development programs and ultimately helped the company retain high potential talent.
In addition to her work with major companies, Mitchell has served as a training consultant for the Regents College of New York, the United States Air Force and worked as an instructor at the University of Albany. Her education includes a bachelor's degree from the University of Montana, and a doctorate from the University of Albany in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. |
