Ms. Kristy Anderson has more than 30 years experience in environmental science, industrial hygiene, microscopy, educational outreach and product development. Her expertise includes optical, transmission and scanning electron microscopy for the use of characterizing materials with particular emphasis with asbestos analysis. Ms. Anderson was recently named Senior Executive Assistant, as well as Manager of Corporate Outreach. Her role as executive assistant presents the president with a unique opportunity to have a technical, operational and strategic resource in one person. As Corporate Outreach Manager, she is active in the product development of K-12 Web-based science education modules that use interactive optical and scanning electron microscope simulators to enhance science curriculum. She actively participates with the professional development, marketing and sales of the education modules through distributors, ASSET Inc. and schools. She also coordinates all RJ Lee Education outreach initiatives, which include activities associated with the National Science Foundation (NSF) SBIR Grant, the Appalachian Region Commission Grant (ARC), West Greene High School Scanning Electron Microscopy Laboratory and Waynesburg College Educational Outreach. She has published in peer-reviewed literature. |
