Dr. Sanden is a Board Certified Family Practicioner with Pine Tree Family Practice. The practice also includes doctors James Smith, Bertand Audette, and Armand Auger, physician assistant David Huish, and Family Nurse Practitioner Beth Harsock-Foss.
Schooling
Dr. Sanden received her medical degree from the University of New England’s College of
Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She later completed a three-year family practice residency at
the University of Massachusetts Fitchburg. Dr. Sanden started her medical career at a group practice in
Gardner, Massachusetts in 1997.
Professional Interest
Before joining Pine Tree Family Practice, Dr. Sanden provided medical care at
Pines Health Center in Caribou, Maine, for over five years. While there, she was affiliated with Cary
Medical Center and served as Vice President of the General Medical Staff and on the Medical Executive
Committee. She was also on the hospital’s Diabetes Advisory Committee. Dr. Sanden’s professional
interests include children and diabetes. She has been camp physician at Camp Adventure, a summer
camp for diabetic children ages 11 through 17 for the last four years.
Personal Interest
Dr. Sanden resides in Farmington with her husband, Bill, a self-employed carpenter,
and their two children, Ragnar and Olivia.
