Kristin Starnes concentrates her practice on representing management in matters related to litigation and employment issues including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and state law discrimination. Earlier in her career, she served as a Law Clerk for the Bibb County District Attorney's Office in Macon, Georgia.
She is a member of the State Bar of South Carolina. Kristin is also a member of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals.
During law school, Kristin was a member of the Mercer Law Review and Mercer Moot Court Board. Her article, Uncertain Waters: Tennard v. Dretke Provides Swells of Protection for the Mentally Deficient But May Cause Rising Tides of Frivolous Claims, was published in the Mercer Law Review. She was a semi-finalist at the Gabrielli National Moot Court Competition in Albany, New York. Kristin coached the First Amendment Moot Court Team at Mercer and served as a Hugh Lawson Editor.
