Kristin K. Going is a partner and member of the firm’s Corporate Restructuring Practice Group. Her practice focuses on creditor’s rights, litigation and bankruptcy. Kristin's practice includes the representation of debtors, creditors’ committees, indenture and securitization trustees, Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustees, and individual creditors in insolvency proceedings in state and federal courts.
More particularly, Kristin has represented indenture trustee and bondholder interests in such national bankruptcy cases as Northwest Airlines, Flyi, Inc., Loral Orion, USGen New England, Tower Automotive, WHX Corp, Magellan Health Services and Armstrong World Industries. Kristin has extensive experience protecting the interests of securitization trustees.
Kristin also has significant experience in bankruptcy and debt restructuring matters involving companies in the health care, retail and automotive industries.
Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Kristin practiced bankruptcy law at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston located in Baltimore, Maryland.
In General. Kristin obtained an LL.M. in bankruptcy from St. John’s School of Law, where she prepared and defended her LL.M thesis on venue issues affecting bankruptcy filings and proceedings. |
