After majoring in Biology at SUNY ESF at Syracuse University, Ms. Wiedemann began her career in corporate research and development. She later received a Masters degree from Tufts School of Nutrition, with a major in Agriculture, Food and the Environment. Inspired by what she had learned about the connection between the everyday products we buy and their impacts on our health and the environment, she spent the next few years as a consultant, helping to grow and promote environmentally-friendly businesses.
Her work developing Web content, marketing and press materials for these companies led her to Consumer Reports' GreenerChoices.org, where she's been able to realize her passion for educating consumers about choosing environmentally-friendly products and lifestyles.
Ms. Wiedemann has traveled the globe and has wide-ranging interests including running, yoga, photography, arts & crafts, and organic and local food. |
