Kristi Blumhardt is a graduate of the University of Colorado (B.A. 1985) and the University of Denver (J.D. 1994). She is admitted to practice in the State of Colorado, the United States District Courts for the District of Colorado, the Northern District of Texas, and the Central District of California as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Blumhardt is an attorney in the firm’s Denver office. She regularly counsels businesses on employment issues pertaining to wage disputes, hiring and firing, employee handbooks, wrongful termination, confidentiality, and non-compete contracts, Title VII concerns and compliance, FMLA compliance, and retaliation issues. She has successfully defended and/or settled cases involving wage disputes, charges of race, age, sex and pregnancy discrimination, wrongful termination claims, violations of confidentiality and non-compete agreements, as well as disputes pertaining to breaches of fiduciary duties and the duty of loyalty. Ms. Blumhardt also represents businesses in EEOC and Colorado Civil Rights Division investigations. She also maintains a general commercial litigation practice including product liability defense, construction defect claims, ownership disputes, franchise disputes, dealership disputes, trademark claims, D&O liability, contract disputes, and real estate matters. Ms. Blumhardt is a member of the Denver Research Institute and the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. |
