Joined Pine Rest in July of 2006. Earned a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Michigan State University, a Master's degree in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State, and an undergraduate degree from central Michigan University. Her professional experience includes work at college campuses, outpatient therapy clinics, adult psychiatric units, sexual trauma counseling and advocacy programs, Community Mental Health, adolescent residential programs, and juvenile court programs. Dr Kish also taught applied psychology and educational psychology courses at Michigan State University for four years and received commendations for her teaching ability. She enjoys providing individual, family, and couple therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She provides diagnostic clarification and psychological assessment for adolescents and adults (mood, personality and cognitive baseline). Dr. Kish teaches and presents on topics including stress management, communication improvement, relationship issues, vicarious trauma, employee diversity training, depression and anxiety disorders, emotion management, and parenting adolescents
