Kristen Crook is the director of marketing for Planet Technologies and is responsible for direction of all of the company’s marketing functions including brand development, sales marketing, advertising, public relations, communications and corporate events.
Since joining Planet in 2004, Kristen has focused on establishing broad-reaching corporate marketing strategies while managing the day-to-day marketing and communication needs of a fast-growing consulting company. Kristen led the successful re-branding of the company, solidified key corporate marketing alliances and strategies with Microsoft Corporation including developing joint business collateral and solution offerings, and led the re-development of Planet’s corporate website. Kristen has assisted in the launch of Planet’s highly successful Microsoft Solution Quick Starts and customized Microsoft training programs geared toward Hosting and Federal markets.
Prior to joining Planet Technologies, Kristen served as the director of public and community relations for Ratner Companies, a 10,000 employee retail services corporation based out of Virginia. There, she set strategic direction for all public relations and cause marketing initiatives for the company and was instrumental in Ratner being selected as one of Washington’s Most Desired Companies to work for.
Kristen is a graduate of Towson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a concentration in Psychology. She lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with her husband and two children. |
