Description of Practice:
Kristen L. McMichael represents private employers in individual, multi-party and class action employment litigation in state and federal court, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract. She represents employers before such administrative agencies as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Kristen also assists federal contractors and subcontractors in developing and implementing their affirmative action plans and provides representation during audits by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). In addition, she counsels employers on various state and federal employment laws.
Educational History:
Kristen received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School in 1997. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. |
