Dr. Krishna Kumar is a cardiovascular consultant and cardiac and peripheral vascular interventionalist with the team at Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Clinics. A medical graduate of the University of Madras, India. Dr. Kumar served his Internal Medicine Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. After completing his Cardiology fellowship in Buffalo, New York he underwent additional training in Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular interventions through The William Dorros-Isadore Feuer Inteventional Cardiovascular Disease Foundation at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Kumar is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Kumar has received numerous medical honors during his medical training. He is actively involved in clinical research and has published in peer reviewed medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and holds membership in various medical societies. He is actively involved in clinical research at the Wisconsin Heart Hospital.
