Kria joined WMUR in March 2005 as the weekend evening co-anchor and weeknight reporter. Before WMUR, she worked for ABC affiliate WLNE in Providence, R.I., as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She got her start at WLBZ in Bangor, Maine, where she did everything from assign stories to shoot and edit her own reports. Kria graduated from Boston University's College of Communication with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. During that time, she interned at NPR's local affiliate and reported for the city's cable access show, Neighborhood Network News. In her spare time, Kria volunteers for ProLiteracy America, tutoring adults in English. She also loves to travel, spend time outdoors, dance, and play with her adorable black and white cat, Eartha. |
