Kregg Brooks is an associate at Bromberg & Sunstein, concentrating in patent prosecution. Kregg prepares and prosecutes patents and counsels clients in diverse technologies. Experience Kregg has prosecuted patents in technologies including computer hardware, biopharmaceuticals, electric motors, and navigation systems. Kregg has advised clients in technologies such as biofuel processes, nutraceuticals, polymers, and business methods. Kregg has represented leading companies in patent infringement cases involving recombinant protein drugs, computer hardware, and telecommunications technologies as well as in trademark and cybersquatting litigation. Prior to his career in law, Kregg was an industrial chemist in the polymer industry focusing on high-temperature additives, and in the coatings industry, focusing on pigment engineering. Kregg founded and operated a company providing color pigmentation services to the coatings industry. Kregg’s undergraduate and graduate studies were in the areas of theoretical physical chemistry, electrochemistry, and inorganic chemistry.
