Klaus Lorenz is president of SAM Electronics in Germany, which was acquired by L-3 Communications in January, 2006. Mr. Lorenz joined SAM Electronics in 2002 as president. Prior to joining SAM Electronics, Mr. Lorenz served as managing director of ABB’s Automation Systems in Mannheim, which provided electrical and automation systems for the Process Industries in Germany. With over 20 years of engineering and leadership experience, Mr. Lorenz began his career as Commissioning Engineer at AEG Marine Division in Hamburg. From 1983 until 1991, when he joined ABB’s Marine Division, he served in various technical and management positions in the offshore, marine and naval sector. Mr. Lorenz graduated from the Hamburg University of Applied Science, earning Dipl.-Engineer degree in Power Systems. |
