Klaus H. Murmann, age 74, a director of Sauer-Danfoss since April 1990, is currently Chairman Emeritus of the Company. He served as Chairman from 2000 until 2004 and was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from 1987 to 2000. He retired as an active employee of the Company as of December 31, 2002. Mr. Murmann founded Sauer Getriebe, a predecessor to the Company, in 1967 and has been involved in the hydrostatics business for more than 40 years. He is Chairman of the Board of PSV AG, Cologne, a German national pension fund. Klaus Murmann is the father of Nicola Keim, a director of the Company, and Sven Murmann, Vice Chairman and a director of the Company. He is a member of the Nominating Committee of the Board. |
