Kit joined Reach Out and Read in 2005 as Manager of Individual Giving. Kit's efforts are focused on growing and stewarding Reach Out and Read's base of individual donors and family foundations. She works with ROR sites and coalitions to assist them in their fundraising efforts, works with the Communications Department to develop ROR's Annual Report and periodic donor newsletters, and is responsible for Pass the Book, an initiative targeting book groups. A lifelong bibliophile, Kit also worked on the $4 million capital campaign for the Cary Memorial Library in Lexington, MA, engaging local businesses in the effort to expand and renew a treasured town asset. She has also been active in raising funds for Belmont Day School in Belmont, MA in their recent middle school expansion. Kit is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University. |
