Kirsten Lewis is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. She is a member of the Energy Group, where her practice focuses on representing energy companies and banks in a variety of transactional and cross border regulatory risk management matters.
Kirsten joined McDermott from the UK Gas and Electricity Regulator, OFGEM, where she worked as a senior legal adviser. She has a wide range of experience in the energy sector, including negotiating and drafting gas and electricity supply licences, advising on the implementation of the British Electricity Trading and Transmission Arrangements to create a Great Britain wide electricity market and advising on European law matters relating to the energy markets.
Kirsten also has corporate law experience and has advised on takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and company floats.
