Kirsten Keegan Vasquez is Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa's Milwaukee and Chicago offices. Kirsten regularly places highly-qualified associates at AmLaw 100 and 200 firms throughout the Midwest.
Prior to joining MLA, Kirsten practiced law at Loeb & Herman, S.C., Wisconsin's premier family law boutique. While there Kirsten represented high net worth clients with complicated estates and had first-chair responsibility for a substantial caseload. She also served as court-appointed guardian ad litem for children involved in custody disputes. Kirsten co-authored the System Book for Family Law, a two-volume practice guide published by the State Bar of Wisconsin. In addition, she has also authored several published articles exploring various stages of career development for attorneys.
Kirsten earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She attended graduate school at the University of Rhode Island on a full, merit-based scholarship, earning a Master's Degree in human development, counseling and family studies. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in business administration (minor: psychology) from URI.
Kirsten is currently a Wisconsin Make-A-Wish Foundation ''Wish-Granter''. While a practicing attorney, she volunteered her services at the Marquette University Legal Clinic and the Milwaukee County Family Law Clinic.
A rabid Red Sox and Patriots fan, she also enjoys running, boating, reading, watching all sports, exploring new restaurants/wine lists and traveling; especially to the Rhode Island waterfront to see her family and to Chile where her husband's extended family lives.
Kirsten is a member of the American and Wisconsin chapters of MENSA, however, she has never seen the qualifying test results and believes there may have been a scoring error in her favor. |
