Kirby Dyess is currently the Principal in Austin Capital Management LLC where she evaluates, invests in, and assists early stage companies in the Pacific Northwest. Kirby is a retired vice president and director of Intel Capital where she was responsible for acquisitions and operations; she managed a portfolio of over 400 companies and 50 of Intel's acquisitions through successful integration. Prior to this assignment, Dyess held a variety of positions at Intel. She joined the company in 1979 and became Intel's vice president and director of new business development in November 1996. She is currently Vice President of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education; and is a member of the OHSU Board and the Business Advisory Board for the University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business. She chairs the Board of Prolifiq Software Corporation and serves as a director for Merix, Itron, Octavian, and Compli Corporations. |
