Kin Mitra, Vice President of Sales, Americas For Kin Mitra, high performance is no cliché. It s how he drives his life and his career often quite literally, since he loves getting behind the wheel of sports cars and supercars when he s not building superior sales organizations. Kin came to Steelbox for one simple reason. He wanted the challenge of building a sales organization for a company that has the chance to revolutionize its market. With a wealth of experience at variety of hardware and software companies, including multiple startups, he recognized an exceptional opportunity at Steelbox. He felt so strongly about the company s potential that he even demonstrated his own personal video network as part of his interview. Prior to Steelbox, Kin served as a Regional Director for Check Point Software Technologies, Inc., overseeing operations in Southern U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America. He was so successful at building Federal sales that the company turned that responsibility into its own separate division. Kin has also worked at Nortel/Bay Networks as Regional Technical Support Manager and as National Channels Manager. In short, Kin knows how to spot a company that performs and then make it better. From his early career studying computer science and geophysics at Emory University to today, he knows where and how to drill to generate a big result.
