Kim's service at Capital City began in 1981 when he joined the company as assistant vice president. He was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer in 1987 and executive vice president and chief financial officer in 1997.
He currently serves on the American Bankers Association’s Community Bankers Council and Administrative Board and was co-president of the Florida Bankers Association. As a community advocate Kim has served on numerous boards including Easter Seals Friends of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library and Leadership Tallahassee. In 1991 Kim received the Julian V. Smith Award presented by the Capital City Bank Group Foundation in recognition for distinguished service to his community. He has an accounting degree from Florida State University and an MBA from Emory University.
