Kimberly Drake is a litigation associate in Meyers Nave's litigation group. Kimberly works with the firm's public agency clients on a variety of cases in the areas of tort defense, election law, California's Public Records Act, inverse condemnation, land use and revenue and taxation.Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Kimberly worked for many years with a local litigation firm on a multitude of complex tort cases and class actions involving public interest and consumer rights issues. She served as an intern with the San Francisco City Attorney's office in the Government Ethics Division. She also spent a year working as a research assistant and campaign aide for a local Board of Supervisors' race.Kimberly earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco, School of Law in 2000. During law school, Kimberly continued working at a local litigation firm, spent a semester teaching law and civics to high school seniors, won a mock jury trial as a participant in USF's Intensive Advocacy Program and competed in a regional moot court competition on trademark and unfair competition law and policy.Kimberly is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Alameda County Bar Association. |
