Kim Villeneuve founded Villeneuve Associates, Inc. to provide her unique blend of retained search for officer-level talent and in-depth organizational development support to client companies, in the retail, e-business and foodservice industries. Over the years, Kim has provided professional services to such retail clients as Nordstrom, Hollywood Entertainment, Hallmark, Kmart, Cablevision, Clearview Theatres, The WIZ, Mervyn's and leading foodservice companies like Romacorp, Advantica Restaurant Group, Denny’s, El Pollo Loco, Coco's and Carrows. Immediately prior to forming Villeneuve Associates Inc., Kim was a partner with the national executive recruiting firm Helstrom Turner and Associates (an acquisition of Korn Ferry, International), overseeing three of their regional offices. It was there she refined her full-service approach by conducting senior-level retained executive search in addition to in-depth analyses of client organization structures and succession planning frameworks.Prior to that, Kim was a senior management consultant, serving as the principal architect of Marine Midland Bank’s cultural transformation from a service to a selling organization. By identifying those elements of performance critical to the bottom line, then introducing the skills, measuring results, tracking data and rewarding achievers, the program she created resulted in an 18% improvement in overall service, a 38% increase in sales referrals and millions of dollars in new, unplanned business. As a senior HR officer with a $1 billion division of Carter Hawley Hale, Villeneuve had total responsibility for the design, implementation and effectiveness of executive development, customer service, information systems training and all phases of employee communications, affecting over 14,000 associates. |
